Rumor spread all over the internet, AMD’s Bulldozer follow-upcodenamed Vishera, could drop in early Q4 this year. The new AMD 8350 will be a eight core design with a 4 Ghz clock speed with 125 TDP. AMD 8350′s runner up is called AMD FX 8320 and is an eight core processor with 16 MB cache and 3.5 Ghz clock speed(Turbo Boost 4.0 Ghz). There is one more Vishera in the work, The AMD FX 8300 is also an eight-core processor with a 95W TDP that still has 16MB of cache and works at 3.3GHz default clock or 3.2GHz on Turbo. All these processors support DDR III 1866 ram, and are compatible with AM3+ socket.
All these latest processors compete with Intel’s Core i5 series processors. Of course, price makes a lot of difference, currently the fastest bulldozer processor is selling for around $240. So, we hope Vishera could potentially deliver what last year’s Bulldozer didn’t.
