Android Hits The US Market

Neilson, which is one of the popular Analyst companies, presented its new report on the Smartphone in the US market. The report is on the second quarter of 2012 which highlighted the continuous growth of smartphones, as most of the new customers of US market preferred to buy smartphones.

 

According to the report, Android is on the lead, taking the market by storm.  Android took 51.8% of the US market and 54.6% of the purchase of the last three months. Second to Android is iOS, covering the 34.4% of the US market. On the third number, it’s Blackberry mobile phones. It is sad to see that Blackberry RIM 8.1% of the market and continued to fall its reputation. But thanks to the Android which kept the rating as high as we were expecting it to be.

Windows phone only managed to hit the market with 1.3% share. For Android these days, most of the selling smartphone is Samsung Galaxy S III. For iOS, the Apple OS is helping to raise the rating, though iOS seems to work very hard to keep up with the new rising addiction of Android.
