Looks like that The Avengers weren’t satisfied with highlighting the first week. The movie debuted last week and earned a gigantic $207.4 million. That’ not it, the movie still stayed on the top by earning $103.2 million, that’s a drop of percent. In the second week, The Avengers destroyed the previous record of sales, held by James Cameron’s Avatar, which managed to earn $75.6 million in its second frame.
The surprising thing is that this 50 percent drop is one of the smallest, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows – Part 2 dropped by 72 percent in its second week.
