Multiplatform title, Brink was released last year, and was received by mild reception. But somehow, the game managed to get a spot in NPD’s top ten software list, and too in the first month of its launch. And now the game has shipped $2.5 Million, according to Splash Damage’s CEO, Paul Wedgewood.
Speaking to industry news site Gamasutra, Wedgwood said Brink is “estimated” to have sold that many copies worldwide, generating $120-$140 million in revenue in the process. Not all of this money went to the London, England-based developer.
“But of course, as an independent video game developer, we don’t earn that kind of revenue, as we’re not the publisher of the title,” Wedgwood said.
