HTC announced a list of its smartphones few weeks back that would have the Android 4.0 updates. In this list, the HTC Desire HD was also included. But according to the latest news from Canadian carries Telus, HTC Desire HD will no longer have the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates.
According to the Canadian carries Telas, the reason why Desire HD will not receive the updates is the poor device performance during the test. Well, we are not sure what the main reason is as we all know that Desire HD shares the same processors as the HTC One V does, and also it more RAM than compared to the One V, while the One V will still be receiving the Android 40 updates.
Even the internal memory of Desire HD is better than Desire S, which will also get the updates. Hence, HTC should give a good authentic reason of not giving Desire HD the Android updates than simply calling it a poor performance.
