The rumors that were filling up the air of internet lately that “Facebook is looking forward to buy Face.com” have been confirmed by Facebook recently. Facebook officially announced that it has finalized the deal of adopting the face-recognition software company Face.com.
The amount of money for the agreement is not unveiled by both parties. Meanwhile, Face.com posted in its blog that it will continue to support its developers and soon it will disclose more news regarding its deal with the world’s biggest social network.
The companies are planning to work on the deal in the upcoming weeks. Though Face.com was already giving its services on Facebook, it looks like Facebook has planned something even bigger on the mobile front.
