Google Presents The Android Distribution Figures

Though Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is not the latest edition and most of the internet is talking about the new Jelly Bean version. But, still this old version is making a lot of success lately. This can be easily observed by the new distribution figures that are published by Google recently, in which things are looking quite impressive for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Ice Cream Sandwich user base has increased up to 15.9 percent. At the beginning of the last month the figure was 10.9 percent, and two months ago it was only 7.1 percent, which means that the percentage has been doubled in just two months. Gingerbread, on the other hand is still on the top of the entire Android user base, 60.4 percent, which was 64 percent in the last month. The user base Froyo is down to 15.1 percent from 17.3 percent which was recorded last month.

Jelly Bean is of course new to the public with a week experience, therefore the percentage is only 0.8 and hopefully it will increase when the Google will present the next distribution figures for the Android.
