Halo 4 franchise director Frank O’Connor said the game is 99 percent complete, and 343 Industries is very close to completing development on November’s Xbox 360-exclusive shooter.
“It’s just sort of getting it in shape for certification and then manufacture,” O’Connor said. “And then just cleaning out last minute bugs and getting ready for launch.”
Halo 4 is the first entry in the series, developed outside of Bungie Studios, and is a direct sequel of Halo 3. Halo 4 is an upcoming first-person shooter video game and the eighth installment in the Halo franchise being developed for the Xbox 360. The previous Halo games were developed by Bungie, Halo 4 will be developed by 343 Industries. The game begins 4 years after the ending of Halo 3, and marks the return of the Master Chief as the main protagonist, and the AI Cortana.
