Huawei is a Chinese firm which is not as popular as other mobile companies like HTC, Nokia, RIM, Apple, etc. But this relatively unknown firm is putting its greatest effort to set its foot in the mobile market. It brings the all new Ascend P1, which is an ice-cream sandwich droid.
The design of Ascend P1 is exceptionally attractive, with brighter color display of 540×960 resolution, the contrast and sharpness are quite striking, while the screen of P1 is comprised of the Gorilla glass cover. You can find an 8-mega pixels camera at the back of P1’s body which has a dual-LED flash. The good features that we can find in the camera option of P1 are the group mode and HDR. By setting group mode, several photos can snap at a time.
MHL port is also available in P1, so that it you can run any HD content on HDTV by the help of an adapter. The sound system of P1 is boosted by Dolby Mobile 3.0+ technology. 1800mAh battery support helps P1 to run for a pretty good while. The heavy use of P1 allows you to operate it upto eleven hours, while a lighter use of P1 gives a full 26 hours battery life.
The Huawei P1 is powered by the dual-core 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 chip with PowerVR SGX 540 graphics on board. The touch is very smooth and the screen is exceptionally responsive to touch. The best thing about P1 is its software, which is preloaded with few app but these app are those which will be very useful for you. Like handy flashlight app, Polaris office, one-click app sideloading tool, and a file manager.
Overall, Huawei is new to all of us, but its promising feature and good performance are above average. Hopefully it will be a hit in the market with a considerable price.
