ICS and Jelly Bean Updated For HTC Desire HD

There was a list HTC released almost a week ago about the smartphones which will have the Android 4.1 Ice cream sandwich update, and there was no mention of the HTC Desire HD. But, HTC did not bother to show the reason behind this bad news for the Desire HD users. However the Taiwanese company on its blog gave the reason by stating that HTC says that the personal data of the users will lose if the Android update will be provided for them.

Today, there’s also a news confirmed that XDA community has provided an Icre Cream Sandwich ROM based on Cynogenmod 9 and Jelly Bean ROM which is based on beta Cynogenmod 10 for the HTC Desire HD. So, you can skip the land of Gingerbread and can switch to ICS anytime you want.
