When Phil Schiller took the stage two days back to announce his Cupertino Company’s new work of art, he claimed that their new masterpiece is the “world’s thinnest smartphone”. Well, it is really important to keep a check and balance before claiming something, that’s all we can say to Phil. Why? Because iPhone 5 is certainly not the thinnest phone. To this very date, the “world’s thinnest smartphone” title is for the Fujitsu Arrows F-07D. It is the thinnest smartphone with 6.7mm thickness only, while iPhone 5 is 7.6mm thicker. After Fujitsu Arrows F-07D, there are other couple of new smartphones that are going to introduce this year and are pretty much slimmer than iPhone 5. So, the statement made by Mr. Schiller is not quite right.
