We are about to reveal a good news for all the Kindle lovers. Yes, Amazon has announced its new Kindle, known as the Kindle Paperwhite. As the name indicates, the screen of this thinner version of previous Kindle is going to be Paperwhite, where you’ll see white as more whiter and black as more blacker than before. This new Kindle will feature 25% more contrast with amazing capacitive screen and more pixels increasing to 212ppi.
As we mentioned above, this new Kindle is very thinner, just 9.1mm thin and weights only 213grams. There is a bundle full of new features: a time teller “Time to Read” that will show you how much time you have to end a chapter or even a book according to your speed of reading. There is a Cloud Storage, now you are only 60 seconds away to download your favorite books.
In addition to the features, there is X-Ray for search the amount of density and chapters characters too. There will be two versions of this Kindle Paperwhite, the Wifi version for $119 only and a 3G model of $179. The screen of Kindle Paperwhite features a light guide systems, which helps out with the “flattened out optical fibers”
According to Amazon’s CEO Steve Bezos the battery life of this Kindle Paperwhite “with the lights on” is expecting to be around two months. He also said that the previous Kindle version also got some new updated features and increased speed performance. The two versions of Kindle Paperwhite are going to be released on the 1st of October.
