Like the Orange San Diego, Lava XOLO X900 is another version with the Intel processor and x86 architecture. It is recently launched in India and hoping of making its way to Europe, meanwhile the Intel said that more of Intel smartphones are coming to the market soon.
The design of Lava XOLO X900 is not something exceptional. It has a long structure carrying 4.3 inches display with a front facing camera and an earpiece up front. On the back it has 8-megapixel camera with LED Flash and videos of 1080p. Overall, it is a simple phone but not boring either.
The LCD of Lava contains Gorilla Glass coating with the resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels with average brightness and contrast. It works on Intel Medfield like the San Diego. The Lave consists of a PowerVR SGX540 GPU and the single-core 1.6GHz Saltwell CPU. Then there is a space of upto 16GB storage with 1GB of dual-channel LPDDR2 memory. When we look at the app side, only app that use Andriod’s Delvik VM are attune now.
The battery life of Lava X900 is better, but not spectacular. The battery lasts around 6 hours, and four and a half hour while playing videos. Hence, Lava XOLO X900 is an average smartphone with reasonable price, almost $393. So, if you are in market and looking for a latest smartphone, x900 is worth a try.
