Logitech and Skype announced the Logitech TV Cam HD. The new device features a high definition camera which makes it easier to share everyday moments from the room that a large amount of time is spent in.

It’s a transformative experience.”

All that is required to make a call is a wireless WI-FI connection. Users can also call mobile or landlines using their Skype credit straight from the device. The Logitech TV Cam HD also features a built-in ringer. The Logitech TV Cam HD is expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe beginning in August and September 2012, respectively, for a suggested retail price of $199.99.
