Neilsen Report: Android Remains At The Top

Few days back Google delivered the user activation chart of the different Androids. Yesterday, Neilsen once again brought its own calculated report of the US smartphone devices of the second half quarter of the year, whereas we already have updated you with the results of the first quarter of this year.

The results remain solid for Android, as it has continued to dominate over other mobile OS. Last reports showed that the Android covered 51.9% of the total user activation. While this time, Android activation persists to grow even more. The recent report gave 58.6% success to the Android in the US market. On the other hand, iOS stands on the second rank again. The only difference is its usage decreased from 34.3% to 33.0%.

Both Android and iOS are covering 86.2% of the total US smartphone market. The BlackBerry sales got down to 2.7%, while the Windows Phone marked 5.8% only.
