For the sake of its decreasing profitability, Nokia promulgates recently that it is going to exclude 10,000 jobs globally by the end of next year. Nokia is not just focusing on altering its strategies but also released the big news of selling its luxury smartphone line, Vertu.
Nokia will most probably sell its smartphone line Vertu to EQT VI, which is a private European firm. The company’s new strategies will also make some changes in its present senior leadership team. The company has already rolled down the positions of executive vice president of mobile phones, chief marketing officer and executive vice president of markets, while these positions have filled in by internal candidates. In addition to this, Nokia has included two more positions in the senior leadership team.
With this proposal of new policies, the company also announced that it will stress upon investing in the location-based services, and try to bring new exceptional Lumia mobiles in the market for the increment of Nokia’s falling profit.
