Nvidia announced their new DX 11 Capable graphic card and that is Nvidia GTS 450.The new Nvidia GTS 450 is DX 11 capable and has Nvidia Physx and Cuda technology.The Nvidia gts 450 looks more like gts 250 but this time Nvidia has decreased the size,power consumption and most importantly the chip.The Nvidia Gts 250 has G92 chip the same chip as in 9800GT and 9800GTX but now Nvidia has changed the chip to ‘FERMI GF 106 ‘ the engine behind Nvidia GTS 450.GF 106 has 1.17billion Transistors manufactured on TSMC’s 40nm process.The core clock is set at 783Mhz,Shader Clock at 1566Mhz and memory clock at 902Mhz.The card is 128bit interface and memory bandwidth is 57.7GB/S and is GDDR5 memory.The cad has two DVI ports and one HDMI Port.The Nvidia GTS 450 is fully optimzed for gaming but not for higher resolutions.
GF 106 is composed of one graphic processing cluster with four streaming multi processors.Each streaming multi processor wields 48 shader cores.Total it gives us 192 shader cores,four polymorph engines and 32 texture units.
If we take a look on GPU-Z we’ll see that the the card has 16Rops the pixel fillrate is set at 12.5 Gpixel/s,Texture Fillrate at 21.9 GTexel/s and 192 unified shaders.One of the most important thing is Nvidia Physx which is available in Nvidia GTS 450.The Physx bring games to life with dynamic destruction.particle based fluids and life like animations.The card also requires one PCI-E connector it means that it doesn’t requires a lot of power.The Nvidia GTS 450 has very low consumption and one can easily run this card who have a normal 400W power supply.The card requires at least 105W at idle and 219W at full load.

The Nvidia GTS 450 perofrms very good in crysis with 26 frames which is not bad for a midrange card and at 1680×1050 resolution it provides 20 frames.
The card performs better than the AMD 5750 and little weaker than the AMD 5770 not bad for a midrange card.
The performance of the card is amazing in DIRT 2 which is a dx 11 game and the card beats the AMD radeon HD 5770 on 1280×1024 resolution.The card performs very good on DX 11
