With the Windows Phone, Microsoft is also working in bringing good quality apps to the market. Recently it is launching the new version of the office suite application, named as the Office 2013. The Office 2013 shares the same monochromic icon with a twisted outlook. The office has few improvements, which include bits of changing in the old and new UI. This new Office will support Windows 7 and 8 only.
Whereas the applications has been altered a little so that they can easily fit in the new Metro UI in Windows 8. The design of the office is somehow same to the old Office of 2010. The UI is also optimized a little to recognize the touch of our fingers because it is designed to be used with touchscreen displays. Other addition features include integrated SkyDrive, Skype, Yammer support and a lot more.
The new Office of 2013 will come in three varieties for OS X and Windows. Each type will be comprised of the basic apps that are: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook and Access. You will also get the Office 365 Small Business Premium which includes business share emails, website, tools and calendars, Office 365 Home Premium which includes 20 SkyDrive and 60 minutes Skype world, and Office 365 ProPlus which includes advanced business capabilities.
