The Sony Xperia Go: The Water-Dust Proof Phone

The Sony Xperia Go is another Xperia introduced by Sony recently. What’s so different about the phone is it’s a rugged device which allows you have fun to a wider range without worrying about your gadget. You can jump into the water pool or drop your phone on mud; the rugged droid will have no issues and it will run perfectly. It will not hold your attention all the time. Let’s give a quick look to the features this phone enfolds.

The phone runs on a Dual-core 1 GHz processor with an Android 2.3 Gingerbread which is of course not the latest version but still it runs the phone quite smoothly, and a NovaThor chipset. The main feature that this phone is offering is the IP67 which is certified for water and dust. It has a 3.5-inches capacitive touchscreen with 320×480 resolution, which is a drawback of this phone because the display looks quite choppy.

Moreover, at the back we have the primary 5-megapixel autofocus camera, with LED Flash, 720p video and offers geotagging, touch focus, smile detection and image stabilization. There is no front-facing camera which means the phone does not give video calls option. The microSD slot supports up to 32GB while you’ll also get a 2GB card included with the set. The headphone jack is standard 3.5mm. The microUSB slot is for charging too. There’s no dedicated camera key. The phone is handy and midrange, so if you’re out in the market looking for a midranged new smartphone, Xepria Go can be in your top list.
