Sony Xperia Ion To Get ICS Update Next Week

Back in June, Sony introduced its another piece of wonder, the Sony Xperia Ion. Of course many other android smartphones are getting updates. Not just the latest Jelly Bean version, but those phones which had Gingerbread, are getting the Ice Cream Sandwich. Xperia Ion, according to a Twitter report by Rogers in Canada claims that it will be getting the ICS update by next week of this month.

If you don’t remember Sony Xperia Ion’s specifications, we are here to remind you that it has a 12-megapixels snapper at the back with LED Flash, a 4.6-inches LED display with the resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It runs a dual-core 1.3GHz processor, powered by Snapdragon S3 chipset with 13.2GB of internal storage.
