Steam Is Planning To Enter The Gaming Hardware Segment

The internet is filled with rumors clouds. Couple of weeks back there were rumors about the Steam were floating in the air that Steam has been deciding lately to enter in the world of gaming hardware market. Fortunately, Steam decided to step into the scene and confirmed this rumor that they are indeed entering the gaming hardware world. When asked why, they said they are frustrated with the lack of innovation in the hardware space. Given below is the official statement the company delivered.

“Valve is traditionally a software company. We’re frustrated by the lack of innovation in the computer hardware space though, so we’re jumping in. Even basic input, the keyboard and mouse, haven’t really changed in any meaningful way over the years. There’s a real void in the marketplace, and opportunities to create compelling user experiences are being overlooked.”
