After unveiling their 2D Mario Project for Nintendo 3DS earlier this year, Nintendo has finally named the project, Super Mario Bros. 2. This 2D platform will be releasing in August in both North America and Japan in August 2012. However, the publishers haven’t released any other solid details about the game yet. The most important thing about the game is the return of Power Leaf and Raccoon Mario. In addition to that info, a quote from Facebook page also confirmed that Lugi will be returning to the game.
